For the last few weeks 4OQ have been working on LAT projects about the great fire of London. Many of the class chose to use woodwork skills to make Stuart houses. They have been learning how to plan a woodwork project, how to work together and lots of skills using saws and glue guns. Keep an eye on the blog for the finished houses….

In LAT today Anna, Ben and Fizza have been doing a project about planting seeds. We have made newspaper plant pots. First we fold it in half, then we fold the top, then we get a tin and roll it. At the end we press the top down and after we compost in it then. The next day we planted the seeds then labeled the plant.

Over the last few weeks Year 4 have been producing a radio show in their Learning Agreement Time. Some groups have been learning how to use the radio station, and some have been creating things to go on the show. We also worked with groups from Year 3 to help them record their own poems and a radio play they had written. You can hear the show below, and the Year 4 poems on their own below that.

This week two boys in our class decided to make a video to show people how to do football skills. They planned the film, practiced the skills, and then presented them on a video with our new Flip Camera.
This week our Learning Agreement groups have been working on presentations using Prezi. Mr Quinlan showed us the software and then we made presentations and stories. This presentation is by Kaiynat and Tyler and is about our class fish.
